About EDIE

EDIE stands for Early Detection Interventions and Engagement and is a service that provides advice and support for people living with “Unusual Experiences” that cause them to feel confused and/or distressed.

The service aims to prevent these difficulties getting worse and from developing into further mental health problems, and we are here to work with people seeking extra help to get their life back on track.

The team consists of a number of professional staff including mental health nurses, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, Cognitive behaviour therapists, and support workers.

Who do we help?

We help young people aged 14–35 that live in the North Staffordshire area that have experienced any Unusual Experiences within the last 12 months that are having a negative impact on their life.

Our goal is to develop a positive relationship and support you and your family and help with those areas of your life which are affected.
